JUST DO IT ANYWAY!

People talk, and it's not always nice. . .they will make accusations, imply terrible things, tear down your ideas and mistreat you.  If I were a betting woman, I would lay some odds that you have experienced some, if not all, of these situations from people throughout your lifetime.  Maybe it was a friend, co-worker, family member, and (here we go). . .yes, even a church acquaintance.  And let me ask you this. . .how did you react?  Were you stopped in your tracks?  Did it prevent you from moving ahead?  Were you too hurt to keep going?  Okay. . .I'll let you stew on that for a few moments. . .

Ten years ago I placed a 3x3 quote on my refrigerator called ANYWAY.  I got this quote from an article about Mother Teresa who also had it posted on the wall of one of her homes for children.  Mother Teresa was a mighty woman of God, who ministered to the poor, sick and dying for 45 years.  She was totally committed to the work of God and faced really intense challenges but did not let ANYTHING stop her from what she knew she had to do.


So I want to share these amazing words with you, and I want you to evaluate your circumstances and know that although things may be tough and people may talk, you can make a decision to push ahead and do what God is calling you to do ANYWAY!!  This simple paper on the fridge has helped me so, so much over the years, and I think it will speak to you too. . .let me know what you think. . .

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
